Could the Fasting-Mimicking Diet Be the Key to Youth? …
… It seems that it can at least help to nudge your biological clock backwards.
The fasting-mimicking diet (FMD), a brainchild of Professor Valter Longo, offers an easier alternative to traditional fasting. Unlike complete fasting or more restrictive diets, FMD allows participants to eat certain foods every day, making it a more accessible path to youthfulness (study).
Following this 5-day low-calorie, nutrient-specific plan, then eating normally for 25 days, and repeating this cycle over three months has shown to rewind the biological clock by a median of 2.5 years, as evidenced by improvements in the crucial biological aging biomarkers albumin, C-reactive protein, serum creatinine, Hba1c, systolic blood pressure, alkaline phosphatase, and total cholesterol.
It had additional benefits like reducing belly fat and the risk for diabetes, and a rejuvenating effect on the immune system
A good way to boost those results is by enjoying a Mediterranean diet with beans, olive oil, and whole grains for the days you eat.
While FMD opens a doorway to turning back time, it's not suitable for everyone—particularly not for pregnant women or the elderly.
Interested in defying age with diet? The FMD paired with Mediterranean eating might be your answer.
Interested in Turning Back Your Biological Clock with the Fasting-Mimicking Diet?
The original FMD kit sets you back between about $175 to $200 depending on where you live. If enough women are interested, I’m happy to do a FMD program together with you for $49. |
If you want to bring friends, simply send me $1 per friend to make it super-easy for me to see how many people are interested.
If not enough women are interested, I will, of course, reimburse you the money.
So, you’ve got nothing to lose.
